May Workshop: Experiencing Sanctuary in nature
We will start with a short mindfulness practice. You will have 20 minutes to walk in a slow relaxed pace around the woods, taking in the sights and sounds of the Earth. Or you are welcome to sit, if that feels better. The area is wooded and mostly shaded, with uneven ground and small hills. We will meet back up as a group in the end to share experiences, review, and do a short quiet outdoor meditation. You will be asked to leave your phones in the car. Please dress comfortably and wear good, closed toed, walking shoes. If you are not okay lying/sitting on the grass, please bring a yoga mat/blanket/towel.
